Market Overview - 11/23/2007

All the major US indices were negative. For the week the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 195.91 points, or 1.49%. The Standard Poor's 500 Index lost 18.04 points, or 1.24%, while the Nasdaq Composite failed 40.64 points, or 1.54%.

The Energy was the strongest sector last week followed by the Utilities. They were the only two sectors posted weekly gains. Financial sector was the weakest sector losing more then 4% for the week and followed by Technology sector.

Utilities is still remaining the most overvalued sector followed by Basic Materials while Specialized Health Svcs, Tobacco Products Other, and Drug Delivery are the most overvalued industries.

Conglomerates and Financial are the most oversold sectors while Home Improvement Stores, Industrial Equip Wholesale, and Regional-Pacific Banks are among the most oversold industries.

Both Dow Jones Industrial Average and The Standard Poor's 500 indices have an uptrend support alert and a strongly oversold daily William’s Percentage Range (W%R) indicator.

QQQQ Trend Analysis - 11/16/2007

It was an up week for the major markets. For the week the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 134.05 points, or 1.03%. The Standard Poor's 500 Index climbed 5.04 points, or 0.35%, while the Nasdaq Composite climbed 9.30 points, or 0.35%.

After the three consecutive strong weeks Utilities finally lost the strength and posted losses this week while it is still remaining the most overvalued sector. The Consumer Staples was the strongest sector last week followed by the Health Care. Technology sector was on the third place after the biggest losses posted a week ago. Basic Materials was the worth performing sector of the week.

The Financial sector is still the most oversold sector and the Regional-Pacific Banks is the most oversold industry. The Specialized Health Services, Beverages-Soft Drinks, and Cleaning Products are the most overvalued industries.

Despite the biggest daily gain of 4.12% since July 2003 on Tuesday, QQQQ was not able to keep up and finished the week only with 0.56% gain (after the sharp drop of 8.12% a week ago).

QQQQ Trend Analysis - 11/09/2007

All the major US indices were negative. For the week the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 552.36 points, or 4.06%. The Standard Poor's 500 Index dropped 55.95 points, or 3.71%, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 182.44 points, or 6.49%.

Technology was the worth performing sector this week followed by Financial sector. Utilities sector remains the strongest for the three consecutive weeks and the only sector that enjoyed gains this week. Utilities is the most overvalued sector as well while Financial is the most oversold sector.

Industrial Metals/Mineral, Gold, Independent Oil Gas are among the most overvalued industries while Regional-Pacific Banks, Regional-Southeast Banks are the most oversold.

It was a down week for the QQQQ. On Friday it lost 3.44%, posting the biggest daily percentage losses since December 2001. For the week QQQQ dropped 8.12% - the biggest weekly percentage drop since April 2002.
